You will engage in D4D lessons and workshops led by D4D practitioners along with selected books, documentaries, films, podcasts, articles, and other multimedia resources.
The curriculum provides an in-depth understanding of D4D principles and practices, as well as support for applying them in context.
You will volunteer with like-minded Atlanta ministries 10-20 hours a week.
The current ministry opportunities include working with refugee/immigrant populations as well as low-income children and their families via a Christian after-school program.
FielD Exposure and visits
You will learn through one-time visits to various ministries and organizations in Atlanta, with the purpose of being exposed to different vulnerable populations and various approaches to poverty alleviation and development. You will continue this experiential learning through Bible studies, documentaries, and other multimedia resources.
You will have the opportunity to process what you learn through one-on-one coaching with experienced field practitioners. Coaching sessions will be personalized to address your experiences, spiritual formation, and long-term goals.
