Summer training Program
The Discipling for Development Summer Training Program (D4D STP) is a virtual 9-week learning community designed to provide an understanding of doing whole-life discipleship alongside vulnerable populations in your local context.
This program introduces participants to the basics of Discipling for Development's relational approach to asset-based transformation and holistic disciplemaking, an exploration of God's heart for communities pushed to the margins and application in one's own context.
This program caters to college students, ministry leaders and professionals who want to understand how areas like justice, creation care and spiritual formation in communities pushed from economic flourishing can intersect their aspirations, institutions and careers.

Key Components
CurriculumYou will engage in foundational lessons on integrating discipleship and development in addition to principles on empowering approaches like adult learning and appreciative question asking.

AFFINITY GROUPSYou will participate in affinity small group calls to identify your context and begin implementing whole-life principles.

COACHINGYou will gain knowledge and process what you learn through affinity group coaching and interactive learnings from experienced field practitioners.

Weekly large-group meeting (Tuesdays 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. EDT)
Bi-weekly affinity group session (Thursdays 2:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. EDT)

$150/person
